Cacao has been a special part of our lives for years through ceremonies, quiet mornings, and gatherings with friends. But we always wished there were an easier way to bring it with us wherever we went. During a year of traveling with just a backpack, we realized how hard it was to carry a big cacao block, a knife, and herbs. We loved the ritual, yet rarely got to enjoy it because it wasn’t practical on the go.

That is when Leo had a (literal) dream of creating travel friendly cacao, but didn’t show how exactly. He came back to the waking world with purpose: we knew our mission. We began imagining a paste that was small enough to put in your pocket on the go, easy to take without a mess, and delicious! In our kitchen, day after day, we started crafting the recipe for the paste you could enjoy as a quick superfood bite or melt into warm water or milk whenever you needed a moment of calm.

When we asked many of you what you thought, your responses were so heartfelt. Your excitement helped us trust this idea and keep moving forward.

Our hope is that these cacao packs bring you joy, peace, and a simple way to reconnect with yourself and the Earth in the middle of your day.

We also want to acknowledge that cacao is part of a complex and sacred market. It is deeply important to us to go above and beyond in the fair trade and ethical space, honoring the people and traditions that make this medicine possible.
