Cacao has been a special part of our lives for years through gatherings and cacao ceremonies. But we always wished there were an easier way to bring it with us wherever we went that didn’t compromise the quality of ingredients. During a year of backpacking, we realized how hard it was to carry a big cacao block, a knife, and herbs. We loved the ritual, yet rarely got to enjoy it because it wasn’t practical on the go.

That is when Leo dreamt of creating travel friendly cacao. He came back to the waking world with purpose: we knew our mission. We began creating prototypes in our kitchen of a paste that was small enough to put in your pocket on the go, easy to take without a mess, and delicious!

When we asked many of you what you thought, your responses were so heartfelt. Your excitement helped us trust this idea and keep moving forward.

We’ve worked hard to do this in a good way, and we’re excited for you to enjoy it too. Our hope is that these cacao packs bring you joy, peace, and a simple way to reconnect with yourself and the Earth in the middle of your day.

We also want to acknowledge that cacao is part of a complex market. It is deeply important to us to go above and beyond in the fair trade and ethical space, honoring the people and traditions that make this medicine possible.
